GOLFLINKS ON THE CLUTCH TOUR!

We what an amazing story we have for you this week. It all started from a bit of rain to one of our GolfLinks members caddying for a clutch tour professional.

Duncan Bagshaw our resident GolfLinks caddie who runs thecaddieexperience.co.uk was due to caddie at JCB but had a cancellation. He noticed that on the community Stuart was attending a Clutch Tour Pro Am, being in the area he decided to come down to support the group. A long story short Duncan ended up in a conversation with Alfie Halil and before you know it had his bag and forming a great relationship between caddie and player. Alfie got off to a great start shooting -4 on day one with a chip in eagle on the first and another chip in birdie on the 2nd... maybe it was Duncan sparking such a fast start!? Day 2 proved a different story in strong winds, a 190 yard 9 iron flying the 18th Green with an 8 on the card scuppered the chances of playing the weekend, however it was a great experience all round for caddie and player. Alfie has such a great story which he will share with the community in the near future, and I am sure we will get to one of our events as a guest speaker. This shows the true value of being part of the GolfLinks community, opportunity and friendships can form out of nowhere and it wouldn't be possible without the GolfLinks community. Thank you Alfie and Duncan for this great story and we look forward to see what happens in the future.
